Hello, you all know me, yada yada yada, let’s get jiggy with it.
I want to become MoD. Why? The position’s open, summer vacation’s almost here, I’ll have ample time to keep the cattle in line.
What experience do I have? I’ve been here for a year and a half. 73% of the site’s populous would agree with me when I say that I’ve improved tenfold since I first joined and spammed thrice a day. I have obliterated my spam output, and I be a prime candidate for this position.
How would I improve/expand this ministry? Hand out complimentary bumper stickers. Statistics show that people still use bumper stickers today. And make sure the aforementioned “cattle” still travel on the path I, uh, WE want them to.
Thank you for your time.

No way. You people are f***ing nuts if you’re actually running for Ministries, at this time.
The people who got elected in Winter went because of the new management, and then more were elected, and they resigned (except Squash, but i think he will eventually). TAAB and zane really did bad by kicking Schlaeps out, I thought it was bad, but not the end of the world, but what they did just recently was disgraceful, so that’s why i resigned, and this site is getting crap.
Anyway, good luck, I’ll find the Ministers will be the only people at the site soon (and the Doctor).June 12, 2008 at 12:28 am #392603

A few ideas:
1) Make the forums more appealing to passers-by – eliminate spam topics on site.
2) Scout for new members on other LEGO-related sites.
3) Merge the Proving Grounds forum with the Site Feedback forum (The Proving Grounds can be a simple subforum, if and/or when we upgrade to phpBB3).
4) Merge the Rules forum with the Getting Started forum (again, Rules would become a subforum when upgraded to phpBB3). This puts the rules at the top of the page, easier to find.
Note: Numbers 1 and 2 are throwaway ideas. They can be removed without a problem.
