Dear Admins, this is a personal plea for the good of Brickfilms.com. I never thought Tim would cut it as a minister, but when An Old Ore stepped down as MoFR and no one seemed to want to fill in the empty space he had left, I stepped up and eventually so did Tim. Tim had been around longer than I and I was only interested in helping this site and filling the need at the time. So I stepped down as a candidate and let Tim take it. I don’t know what Tim has done to every one else, but I have received PMs (unnecessary I might add) from Tim that are very “Unministerly” so I’m assuming that other people have had similar experiences. I decided to just let it drop, but this thread was the last straw. http://www.brickfilms.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=22049 After all this I now request that Tim should be removed from office and I will gladly correct the mistake I made of withdrawing my candidacy and step up. Why I would make a good MoFR (as outlined by An Old Ore)
On the first point, I would review the rules and do my best to improve them. Second point, easy. Third point, I would remove the members who no longer wish to remain part of the panel and recruit extras when things have settled Fourth point, this doesn’t happen very often but I have proven competent in deciding on “Border-line” films. Now to the community, I ask you… …Do you want Tim to continue or would you rather have my self as the Minister of Film Reviews? |

Personally, I’m not voting for either. Nothing against you, but you haven’t exactly been on the review panel that long, so why should you just suddenly be in charge of it? And Tim’s been acting like a total jerk, so I don’t want him as the MoFR either. So I’m going to sit out this one. |

Some part of me is agreeing with you but then another part is me thinking Tim is doing this as a slight joke.
I don’t think that really matters. I nominate Littlebrick for Minister of Film Reveiws. |

When An Old Ore stepped down, Tim and I both offered to fill his shoes. I thought that seeing as Tim had been around longer, there was no point in going for the position. So I stepped down and let him take it. I now regret stepping down, so I’m stepping back up for the good of BrickFilms.com. |

I’m pretty sure Tim had been on the Review Panel for a while before he became MoFR. But I guess if no one else steps up, a newer member of the panel could. I think that person should have good leadership skills, and have a good idea of how the whole reviewing process works. They should also be able to explain why a film was rejected to the member who made that film, and handle any criticism that the member in question may dish out. And thank you, Stevie. |

And you can do all that, so you’d be good for the job.
You’re welcome. |

Well, I’ll consider running. |

1.) Why people don’t PM me but PM you, I don’t understand. If they have a concern, they’re not PMing the right person 2.) So far I’ve done exactly what my roles have been. That is, hire reviewers to shrink the pile of the film list (which has been largely successful), and respond to rejections (which I have done in the thread, if you haven’t read it yet). 3.) We are making good progress. Why stop now???? |

besides, considering the fact that I am regularly checking the “was your film rejected?” thread to look for people with inquiries, and the fact that I was appointed this role by review panel members not ragtag members, it’s hard to say I’m not doing my duties correctly. |

It has nothing to do with doing your duties incorrectly. I think you’re doing a fine job. Except for the fact that you just ticked off about half the members here when you posted that rather insulting topic called “Was your film rejected?” You should be helpful and encouraging to the new members. Saying “you suck,” or “your film making skills suck,” does not fit that category. No. That’s going to turn quite a few newer filmers away from Brickfilming. Look at the other admins and moderators Tim. None of them got where they are now by insulting members left and right. The only reason you are where you are now is because no one else would step up to the position of MoFR. Well, except for The Doctor, but as he says right in this very thread:
That is the only reason you go where you are now, and I do not think that is enough. Well now, there are two members ready to replace you (yes, I am running for the position now), and you will not win in the end. |

You should start a campaign thread and get this going so the Admins will be more inclined to replace him if it’s what the people want. |
