How has it been dealt with? Are you going to update your original reviews? |

You can’t change past reviews, otherwise I would. As for how, AOO talked to me about the problem and asked me to write longer reviews. |

You can change past reviews… You click ‘review film’ and update your previous review. MoFR should know that. |

A lot worse have been said about you elsewhere (forums). My use of language is just the tip of the iceberg. |

I know about what people have said on Ilovebrickfilming.com, but they apologized. Ie: The “Iceberg” melted just leaving your tip. |

Yes, Tim, I have only reviewed one film, but that is not the only part of the job. I have rejected more films than I can count. The only reason I’ve only done one review is because other reviewers get to the films before I do, and with the boarderline ones I have trouble deciding. Take Steve vs The Giant Alien Potato. I wanted to accept that one, but I didn’t know if it was good enough for the directory. So I’m a perfectionist. It’s not my fault. Maybe I should just start going with my gut instinct, but what do I do if people start complaining about more sub-par films being accepted? And as The Doctor already said, you did not hire him or I as Reviewers. And as I have implied over and over again in this thread, a Minister should be more supportive of newer members, especially one who is going to be reviewing their films. I know I’d feel pretty bad if I worked hard on a film, submitted it and had it rejected with the message “It’s crap.” I say we should have a vote. If more people want Tim to stay, I’ll shut up. But if more people want him to go, I’ll be one of the people running for MoFR. |

I’m not sure how the review panel work these days, But why dont you just send them an email with a mini review in stating some good points and bad points and saying why it got rejected, this seems much more respectuful then just rejecting it and saying “go to this thread” I appreciate that this would take more time, and that alot of films get sent in. But surely if no one is going to do the job properly, then what is the point in doing it atall? Maybe it’s better to find more reviewers to do a good job of it. As for the topic, I’m all for voting for the MoFR, but I feel the final decision should be up to the admin team, though they should consider what people wants, the people arent always right. |

Has Tim ever actually done that? Has ANYONE ever sent a rejection letter saying “Your film is crap?” |

Actually, as far as I know, no one has done that. But that’s practically what he did in the “Was your film rejected?” thread (which has since been editied). |

And that is what started (well, kick-started what was building up) all this. |

I was one of the original members added by RevMen back in the day, the day we cleared out more than 100 films in the queue. I wrote some reviews, many of questionable quality. One day, my good buddy Tim opened a private chat with me. Tim: Can I say something? I thought about it, read some reviews of mine, read some reviews of his, and concluded that he knew what he was talking about. I got better at writing reviews. This incident occurred when Tim and I were equals, before he actually had any power over other reviewers or the quality of their reviews. Now that Tim is in charge, he is simply continuing to ensure that the directory is filled with good reviews and good movies. And The Doctor, you suck at writing reviews.
But it may not be that you are hilariously incompetent and have no concept of sentence structure, but that you drink on the job. |

If I recall, I was quoting a joke from the film. But I maybe wrong. |
