As long as it meets all the other criteria in terms of rights, yep. Has to be that format they specify – I think it’s NTSC standard (or widescreen). |

Hmm. You have to enter the date on which the film was completed. They might not accept films you made before the contest. -Leonardo |

There’s nothing in the rules that says that, and the “awards this film has won” section on the entry form implies they’re not expecting fresh meat. |

Isn’t bear arms a tad violent for a kids cartoon channel? I mean the guy splatters the other guys head into the wall… |

Well, we should leave that up to the owners of the channel. Think about how violent The Incredibles is. |

True. The most violence in mine is a thief landing face down inside a garbage can |

Well, we’ll see. I have a version of it ready to burn to DVD should I decide to enter it, but I also have another film idea in the works. -MindGame |

i didn’t see anything about this in the rules: can it be animated in 3d rather than in stop-motion? I’d love to submit something 3d for this, as I’ve gotten really good at that and making an animation of lego would be pretty easy (in 3d). I was already thinking of making a 3d brickfilm for fun, so if i don’t get an answer to that question i’ll just submit it anyways, but it would be nice to know before hand whether or not it’s eligible. |

Thou shalt not lend thine computer to any man, lest thou never see it again. Anyway, I think you can make a CG film. Mine uses a lot of CG. -Leonardo |

Hmm…I don’t think using some CG effects and making an entirely computer animated movie would be the same thing – they’re wanting movies with LEGO bricks in this contest, not a cartoon that is made to look like LEGO bricks. So in my opinion, an entirely computer-generated entry would be contrary to the purpose of the contest. |

You know – I think you’re probably right. They said that any type of animation was fine, but they also said that it had to include real LEGO bricks. So they might disqualify an all-CG entry. -Leonardo |
