for some reason, some of the brick movies i watch here play fine, but on some of them, windows media player starts to play them as if they were music files. What’s up with that? Should I get another media player or something?
thanks in advance,
dan

Most .avi’s around here are compressed with Divx. What a codec does is compress the file down to a smaller size, often with some loss in quality. Although Divx is pretty good about keeping high quality.
