Dialog writers are what we need right now so if you’re up for that, sign up in the private forum. |

Update: All right, obviously, most of you procrastinated with writing your scenes as Americans have with purchasing gifts. Fortunately, some of you took the one option of giving the writing privileges to me. Now is the start of the next phase: finishing what we have for the Utilization scene before the new year. All animators with characters in this scene should start being active at the private forum. |

UPDATE: While you folks are resting up after THAC, I need to get this scene done before the new year because Winter Quarter starts immediately afterwards and I don’t know how distracted I will be afterwards. Fortunately, some scenes are coming along nicely and and just need my approval, but there are still several that need discussion to get it going. It’s crunch time people! |

UPDATE: As of this moment, 7 out of the 15 character scenes have been finalized, 8 are left, 3 of which just need slight touch ups to be finalized, the others need feedback. Game plan for ’08: CTA scene should be done quickly has we had spent a lot of time on this scene during its development so deadline for those involved is end of January. We’ll mainly be working on the finer details that we specified months earlier. If things go as plan, February will be the start of the scenes on the island and should have a deadline of end of February. Dialog writers will be needed a lot in these last scenes to help with good one-liners, etc. Hopefully, fellow brickfilmers, we will be done with writing on March or April. After that, I know some outsiders have expressed interest in reading and giving input on the script. Any touch ups should be minor. All animators should start thinking about how they are going to shoot their scenes and they must provide some form of storyboarding (be it drawings or just pictures to represent your shots) starting in February. Collaborative discussion on who animates what scenes and what shots should start right after the script is finished, if not before. All animators committed to this project should start considering their priorities because at the rate we’re going, I may start setting deadlines around when the annual Brickfilms.com contest starts. CGI animators such as myself should and will be testing out stop-motion/CGI animation composition. Sound designers should start asking questions on what we need for sound in the film. Composers…well, just keep checking up on developments. Let’s start 2008 with a bang. |

In addition to that, I, Director of Visual Design, will start compiling needed set designs and also models in MLCAD. I will also be working with other animators to improve their set design and construction so that every shot in the entire film remains consistent with highly detailed sets and props. I will by highly scrutinizing set and prop designs provided by animators and will criticize and implement changes/improvements where needed. |

Project “Super” is a community project. It is a feature length brickfilm created by a large group of brickfilmers. The story’s about some persons all over the world getting superpowers and teaming up to prevent the end of the world. |

Read the thread title. It says “Sign ups Closed”. That means that you can’t sign up for the project anymore. The answer to the question “Could i still get a part?”, therefore, is no, and therefore also makes any answer to your follow up question (“If i can can i do water manipulation?”) pretty useless. |
