Alright. It would seem that I screwed up rather badly on Thursday while trying to fix the 100%+ bug that PM boxes were having.
The Good News: I fixed it.
The Bad News: It seems to have dropped nearly 9/10 of the old PMs off the face of the planet…
I’ve downloaded a backup, but I’m having trouble restoring, or even reading it.
Do we have any daily backups from Wednesday that’ll allow me to restore just those two pm tables to the DB? I’ve been searching for *days*.

The daily backup gets overwritten every day. If that doesn’t work for you you have to resort to the weekly backup.

Do the weekly backups contain the MySQL though? I was under the impression that only backed up the files.
Also, I ended up installing php and mysql on my computer to create a replica of the DB using the backup I downloaded right after the problem.
But it was exactly the same.
Blech.

Weekly, monthly, and daily backups are all the same. The only difference is when they’re written.

Right, I was just under the impression that backups were the files on the server, not the mysql databases.

Alright, I downloaded the weekly backup. It doesn’t have a backup of the database. At this point any backups of the brickfilms database would help wonders. Hopefully I missed something.
