I’m signed in, but the links to check for new film submissions and that other one are gone. Also, I have lost my Review Panel powers.

TAAB removed our powers because she thinks that if we have review panel rights we can and will spam the front page. Even though review panel rights dont allow the user to post news stories but hey what do I know it’s her site.

Mine are gone, but I assume that’s because I’m not the Minister of Ratings anymore. I should have mentioned I was still reviewing, but whatever.

The current estimate for completion was 4-6 weeks, which isn’t really an acceptable amount of time to completely stop all review panel activities. Also, people can’t edit their films right now, which prevents fixing dead links and such.

I think we’ll get our permissions back when taab thinks she can give them back without risking some asshat defacing the site again. For what it’s worth, I’ve just asked her to shut down film submissions until there’s a way for someone to review them and add them to the directory. I hate to think how many are backed up at the moment.

Hmm…I thought they had already disabled submitting films some time ago.

Yeah, it falls over after you’ve been through a couple of links. I just thought it might be better if there was no option at all for the time being.

Gah, this is crazy, Brickfilms.com is supposed to be centered around the BRICKFILMS. Right now it seems like the forums are being given higher priority then the whole purpose of the site!

Yeah, I’m not impressed right now. Is anyone reviewing right now? Because I sure can’t… The point of this site is to showcase the best films, in order to get the best site ranking possible, therefore creating more ad revenue. How is that supposed to happen if we can’t review the films in the first place?

This is totally unacceptable, how are we supposed to keep this site alive when we can’t even accept films? The whole site is centered around brickfilms, so why can’t there be any more? With this kind of leadership of the site there’s no wonder there are so many people switching over to BIM.

Well,
I just had a look at BF 3.0 and Zane is only doing “behind the scenes” stuff, so honestly I expext BF 3.0 to be online (with all the features we don’t have right now, and returning powers) with this or the next week,
