I’m still in the middle of trying to work out a newer method of submitting sounds to the library so that it’s easier on both you all and me, but I figured in the meantime, I should at least try to make it a bit easier with the system we currently have.

If you wish to submit sounds to the library, send your sound files and descriptions to me in a PM. This eliminates several steps in the current process and keeps me from having to play PM tag with admins trying to grant individual users upload rights.

While this current solution isn’t nearly as flashy of innovative as I hoped it would be, this is currently the best option I have. I’ve suggested a few different ideas to Schlaeps, but there is a potential security risk with some of them, which is what we don’t want obviously. So until something is worked out, send me your submissions in a PM (following the current submission guidelines) containing the uploaded sound file and a descriptor. If worse comes to worse, this may end up being a more permanent method, which isn’t necessarily what I hoped for, but it makes life easier all the same.

DISCLAIMER: Submitting a sound to me does not guarantee automatic inclusion into the library. I will continue to judge sounds based on their quality, and will reject sounds that I don’t feel are up to par. Don’t take it personally if I reject your sound, I’m just doing what I feel is best for the sound library.
