I put both director and film name myself since some had multiple films and Stefan had remarked on that earlier in this thread.

Good idea. I started to sort them “intuitively”, going through the list over and over again, pushing them up or down whenever I thought they are not in the right place. But I’ll probably define some animation-related categories and judge on them seperately.

question re: erlic’s entry.

It does not contain a pic of all parts in credits, and also seems to have 11 elements.

Shark counts as two in my book. (its jaw is able to be removed; compare to horses, that seem to be sealed in a way that stops removal.)

Clarification would be good so I can complete my voting.

EDIT:

also seems that m!llerlite has no still image in credits.

Dang I missed that rule, my understanding was to provide a pic of your pieces when submitting your entry.

My entry was originally zipped with a pic of the ten elements, and it was ten, here’s
a list: 2 heads, 2 hands, 2 arms, 1 hairpiece, 1 torso, 1 shark head, and 1 shark body.

Just for clarification,

Yep, thanks for clearing it all up… of course, a pic in the credits would have solved the problem… :)

you will automatically be excluded.

Participants from whom no ranking is recieved by the Voting deadline will be excluded from the contest and therefore from the individual rankings before the points are awarded.

The difficulty was setting the best 1 as #0. What an interesting use of 0 in the ranking system.

That’s what happens if you have scientists on the team. A sport of my professors is to write down the grading calculation for written exams in a nonstandard yet mathematically correct way. Brickbrock was the one to propose this system!

At first I thought he’s a computer scientist. But apparently, he’s not :) .
