BertL	Holy crap. Were all those people there for the Brickfilms festival? That’s awesome. AWESOME! EDIT: Zepper, there’s a picture of someone with a camera… did she film the festival or something? Because that would be interesting to see.

zepper	Thanks! Yes, they were all there for the festival although in the pics from inside the theatre you can’t actually see all the people. I took those before everyone was seated. There was also a lot of media interest in the festival. In the media section of the site, you can read, listen to and watch everything. For example, I was on a nationwide morning talk show at 7 in the morning talking about the joys of brickfilming. That was really fun. Festival life is hard man, hah. 8) Yes, she did shoot some video. She’s a friend of mine. She’s got loads of work but I will put clips of the video footage on the site ASAP. I’ll let you know when they’re up.

zepper	TwickABros: That’s a great idea. I’d love to do that. If anyone’s interested and (preferably) knows a few people in their town, known how to rent a theatre for cheap etc, it can be done. No problems. I’d love to be a part of something like that as well. Plus, I’ve got PR material like posters and stuff all ready. I can just translate them into english. It’s a really easy festival to market as well. I found most newspapers, radio stations and such were interested in covering it just because it’s such a weird and unique subculture that regular, average joes know nothing about. Krick: Yes, I took snaps of the screen like you requested. I’ll have a look and see if I can find yours.

zepper	On wednesday, I will be interviewed for the show “This Way Up” on Radio New Zealand. They want to talk to me about brickfilms as a phenomenon and the festival I just arranged. Are there any NZ brickfilmers here? If so, perhaps you can listen to me on the air. I’ll try and get an mp3 of the broadcast anyway so everyone here on the board can listen to me as I become a pacific ocean superstar! Keep your eyes open.

As you can hear, he’s looked around on the board and mentions “Grace” several times. I said something about most films having violene and sex in them but that’s sort of not ALL I said. It was sort edited in a way that makes it sound…wrong. Ot at least that’s not exactly what I meant. Anyways, don’t hate on me for that. I know most films are kid safe. Tell me what you think. Did I make us look good?

zepper	Thanks. I dunno if all the audio is available thru the website link I provided. If not, you can try subscribing to the iTunes podcast. Just do a search in the store for “this way up” or something like that, and you’ll find it. I downloaded the whole show that way.
