Well, I was going to post these when I got the Entrant ballots finished, but I’m still waiting for a couple of fixes for some incomplete Entrant ballots, so I’ll just post these. Hopefully I’ll get the entrant’s results up tomorrow.

As you can see, there was a tie for second place. One of the judges submitted an incomplete ballot, which was not used in the main body of the contest and instead used to break the tie. Congratulations to the winners. Here is a transcript for those of you who would like one.

Hmmm… Looks like I need to work on my animation.

Thanks for putting this up!

EDIT: By the way, which version of my film was judged? The Divx version or the .mp4?

See ya,
Ryan :)

I’m surprised that Groundhog Trouble didn’t get a better ranking. I thought it was hilarious. Good job to all.

Well, one of the ballots was missing a film in the “1.” slot, but I decided to post the results for the Entrant’s ballots before I leave anyway. The standings won’t change.

“Krick Films” wrote: Is that all the films or just the top ten?

Sorry for forgetting to clarify; the films that are not listed received 0 points.

I can’t believe this. I was sitting at work today, and my brother calls me and says, “Guess what. We won THAC!” Needless to say, I was somewhat surprised. I said, “Oh, let joy be unbounded!” When I got through dancing, I went back to editing music.

Congratulations everybody! Mindgame, you or Nos deserved to win. I was predicting maybe 3rd place for our film, but I guess I was wrong. Good job, everyone! Whoever judged the contest was very gracious.

EDIT: Whoa, I just saw the entrants results. Great job Nos! You deserved it.

EDIT 2: Whoa, sorry Nos, I didn’t read the post very carefully. You still deserved it though. :)

I would have probably got a considerably higher ranking if THERE WAS A BLOODY FUN SCORE.

But 9th isn’t too bad.

Congrats to Duke and High Tower. You guys are awesome.

I’d prefer an “audience’s choice award” over an entrant’s choice award, it’ll be so much better.

Congrats to you HT/Duke again on a double victory! *grumble grumble*

-MindGame, now forced to spend money for a FIG DVD ;)

EDIT: Huh, I swear I remembered voting for Nightowl’s film in the animation category, and yet he has no votes there.

I guess I should have voted, sorry everyone. 35 hours a week at Hancock Fabrics has taken a lot out of me recently.

DQed for not voting? Another reason why David West’s rules are a complete joke.

Wow, we did not place with the Judges but got 7th with the animators, I can see how I got points in animation, cinematography, sound design but how did we get 13 points in story?
