I decided against running the contest on multiple days because that destroys the awesome feeling of dozens of animators working simultaneously around the world. If there hadn’t been enough interest to warrant a single day, I would have had multiple days. |

My parents will never allow to stay up all night. But if I have time at the time, maybe I could just animate for like 10 hours or something… |

Mechanco has a point, people, you don’t have to do 24 hours nonstop animation. If you only have 10 hours at your disposal, use those! Stefan. |

No it’s not. It’s set for 12 noon in London, which is currently on British Summer Time, which is one hour ahead of GMT |

The 24 Hour Rules have been updated to link to this page, which contains the actual GMT time and the corresponding times around the world.
No, most of the animating hours fall on saturday. For the west coast it starts at 5:00 am on saturday. That means that 19 of the 24 hours are on a saturday. |

Oh, ok. What I meant was that since I can’t stay up late…most of the hours I can animate fall on the next day; Sunday. I’d be able to animate the morning and afternoons, but not late nights. IceMan. |

The mod element thing to me seems kind of pointless, because all anyone would have to do according to your rules is build there sets and then get a piece of paper with the element made on it and tape it to every set they film. As long as your holding the theme of the contest until the 27 what difference does it make if we have a mod element or not? -Xray555 |

The mod element ensures that you do your filming only during the 24 hours. It’s possible for you to build your set and write your story and even storyboard your story ahead of time, but you can’t actually start shooting frames until the timer starts and you know what your element is. Come to think of it, you could even record voices ahead of time. |
