As the main medium I would say stop-mo. Don’t mix stop-motion and full CG animation. It hardly ever turns out well except for long shots of a city or landscape.

Definitely. And a sci-fi brickfilm could be cool, despite the potentially huge amount of effects.

Yeah, I’ll try to come up with a sci-fi story, seeing as I’ll be doing the story, and maybe a small portion of CGI or animating.

    Space Bricks

The basic story is about the captain of a space ship. They cruise around space, and find a weird life form. The life form is called “pullomic nerosthis,” A virus, that corrupts anyone it gets into. The virus has taken a whole planet, when the mars government steps in, seeking to explore the planet. The disease gets inside one of the men from mars, as they’re heading back to mars. The spacemen get home, spreading the disease all over mars. Meanwhile, captain james hannnon, the captain of the E.P.S.S. hollywood, is heading back to earth. The pullomic neroisthis Martians intercept them, and they have to fight they’re way out, in some really epic spaceship battles, and boarding parties. Full script coming son….

Sounds like Alien, we want this to be suitable for the whole family.

It sounds good, but not really original.

I think a family friendly film would ultimately be the best choice, because if this does end up going into a theater, it’s LEGO, and kids are going to want to see it. Parents won’t be happy if the kids are exposed to gore, even though it is cute little LEGO people that move.

We also don’t want to bore their parents to death, let’s aim for a PG rating. Like just over G type PG nothing to much.

I had some issues getting my brick film on TV with the LEGO Company, but got it sorted. I just can’t make profit from it. And $7,000 AU dollars later it will be aired on the ABC in 2010

We won’t be using the word Lego or their logo so we shouldn’t have any issues

EDIT: Oh and btw people, I will be going to away to Melbourne tomorrow and won’t be back until late Monday night.
