I wouldn’t call it a comedy, but more of an adventure film with comical elements.

If you could give me something short to write about, I could do good. I work better with an outline

Hm…okay. Write me up this scene:

The Queen is on a raised platform and says that they’ll never leave alive, and that they will be hunted until Edward is returned to her. They refuse to give up, and fight their way through the room, barely making it out alive. They just run away at this point.

They reach the last tunnel before the exit. Hundreds of monsters are behind them, unseen, only their voices letting the viewer know they’re there. Dash tells the group to run ahead, and he’ll hold off the monsters. Josh refuses to let that happen, and Dash replies, “What kind of knight would I be if I let you die? I’m a knight, a hero. And if I have that title, I need to live up to it.” Josh nods and understands that Dash needs to do this for himself. Josh, Rasputin and Edward run away while Dash stays to hold the monsters off.

The monsters come running at Dash, who begins fighting him. He holds them off for a bit, but is then overpowered. His fate is left unknown, but it is strongly implied that he dies here.

This part is meant to have action, but there is going to be some humor in there as well. Dash’s “death” is supposed to be emotional as well, so how well you pull that stuff off will help me determine if I want you.

Badger, this is meant to be for kids

I know. You weren’t aware that Dash was taken from the story halfway through the script? And I’m sure kids are going to be able to handle something like this, seeing as we don’t actually see Dash die, it’s just implied, and it goes with Dash’s character and his development well. Just look at The Incredibles. A lot of people are proclaimed dead somewhere in the film, and a guy is sucked into an airplane which then explodes, and a ton of kids saw that film.

I don’t see what’s wrong with Dash “dying.”

Squash, I got the script. You can consider yourself on the script-writing team.
