Ok, a slight plot change. If you are involved in this project in anyway, read this, just in case.

After discussing this with TheNoodle, he suggested a change to the plot and I think it’s a good idea. So here are some plot changes and additions.

The following will be explained by the King when he is giving Josh the mission:
Years ago, there was no alliance of monsters, just several species of monsters that lived together in a cavern, but weren’t united. They all lived far away from Castleton, and lived simple lives. However, one day the Queen appeared and united them into one alliance. She demanded that they live like the humans live. So they slowly expand outwards from their cavern and take over the town above it and the surrounding areas. They enslave some humans to build houses and other luxuries humans have for them. Edward just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and was captured and imprisoned by the monsters.

The King was aware of the monsters expanding, but he didn’t see it as much of a problem until they started capturing humans, which is when he started considering different actions. After the capture of Edward, he decided to send in an elite group (Josh, Rasputin and Dash)to rescue him and learn about the monsters, and then decide how to deal with the threat after they return.

There isn’t any group of barbarians in the plot anymore. They still exist in the universe, so if you want to make a reference to them, that’s fine, but they have no relation to the plot. The only reason Edward was captured is because he was human, meaning that the Ancient Emblem that the Queen wants has been removed from the plot. The Hunters that she sends after the group are now trying to capture all of them, not just Edward.

That’s the change. If you have any questions, just let me know. I’ve looked through the summary and mentioned here all the effects this change would have, and I think I’ve got everything. If you think there’s anything else that would be affected from the change, let me know.

WRITERS: You can now officially start writing your assigned parts. The current deadline is mid-August (an exact date will be decided upon sometime in July). I’m hoping that the final script will be completed by October.
