Perhaps the new page could have a section devoted to tutorials that are written and submitted by fellow brickfilmers. These could contain images and text, using steps for the longer ones. People could then rate the tutorials, I guess by just voting for them. I think this would be very helpful and would help to collect everyone’s good special effect ideas in one place. Just a suggestion. Zach |

I agree that tutorials are a good idea and that a central repository for them would be very helpful, but I don’t agree with rating them. I’m sure some will be better than others but I’d leave it to RevMen to decide which he’d like on the site (if not all of them, for variety). -j |

I’d volunteer to put together some. It would definately enhance the FAQ. – mrgraff |

zirkusaffe took the words right out of my mouth. (Not in a bad way. In other words, I can’t find any other way to say my opinion on this other than to quote him.) I would love to have tutorials, and would greatly benifit from them. I would think that it would help everyone else, too. |

Well, yours truly has been put in charge of the new resources section. Hopefully, now with a dedicated “resources section guy” the resources section will become a much more important part of the site (as opposed to the sadly forgotten and abandoned condition it’s currently in.) Between what I hope to accomplish with the resources section, and MrGraff’s wonderful FAQ newbies and vets alike should never be short of that “vital info” right at their fingertips |
