I would assume that voting would either be a poll in the forums or a ballot similar to those used for THAC.

I did some research on the candidates for the Minister of Filming Resources or whatever it’s called. Here are the post counts for the candidates. First is in Hardware and Software, then comes Animation and Effects, and then comes Total Posts.

Brianfast 109 37 1519
Gray Scale 83 62 1082
Legosjedi 85 73 1056
MindGame 178 183 2655
Schlaeps 108 71 2375

Note that this says nothing about the contents of these posts, which I haven’t surveyed. Sadly (or luckily), for the Minister of Information such a tally can not be held.

EDIT: It disappoints me that I can not seem to find any posts where the various candidates introduce themselves and justify their candidacy. Only WWRD and NeXT seem to have posted some arguments for their candidates.

Come on, people, start campaigning!

EDIT 2: Sorry, Smeagol and Legosjedi had very nice speeches online already, which I had overlooked until now. Especially Smeagol’s speech is very good.

It shouldn’t be that big of a surprise. Not everyone spends their holiday near the computer; some have places to be, people to see, and stuff to eat.
