First of all: The files are way to big for being 10 second clips. 2.5 MBs for the first one, 10(!) MB for the second one! And they’re black and white. Are you using any compression?
The animation is okay, needs a little work.
Get rid of the bluescreening or make it look a little smoother. A guy could get a seizure from watching that. Also, there are parts where the screening is unnecessary and overkill, like where Hitler is making his speech, and where they’re walking down the beach. In other words, both of them. Try to find a backdrop for your set. It will make it a lot easier for you, and will end up making the scene look better and smoother. The real people also did not fit in with the LEGO people on the second video.
Black and white is good for the type of movie it is, and you have a good cam apparently, but the poor blue screening really screws it up.
Keep working on it though, it takes practice to get things to look right.June 18, 2003 at 10:21 pm #5777
and the cam shake a little bitJune 18, 2003 at 10:23 pm #5778
Oh yea and the proper sentence format for the poster (including spelling), should be “2” or “Two” “men fighting for one reason – to escape hell”.
Not that that matters, just bugged me. The poster looks a little more dramatic if you seperate the two parts of the sentence across the two sides of the head.June 18, 2003 at 10:45 pm #5790
I shall tell you right now that for the second clip the camra (on a tripod) was 4 feet from the set (had to fit it all in) making any slight movement noticable, on the first clip, i was tired and my blue screen blended with the guy’s shirt so I might refilm it. I wanted it to be black and white because it is to take place way back in 1942 or so and i don’t have the voices in it yet (there are no female willing to say somthing on a micophone :evil ) I will take the backdrop idea into consideration but I don’t want the background to be in focus and the minifigs not to be so that is why I did the chromakeying. and yes I did compile them it is just in a big resolution so it is a lager file this is still no where near the final

I once spelled escape wrong on a poster. It was an awesome poster, except for the error. The teacher didn’t notice and I got an A+. But now I feel stupid because she asked if she could keep it because she liked it so much.
For the poster:
No offence, but I don’t really like it. Hitler’s face, I thought he had a big nose. Then I realized the Nazi signs and knew it was hitler. Again you spelled escape wrong. You should use “two” instead of “2”
I know, I can tell you spent a lot of time on it. But redoing or fixing this poster would be the best thing to do.
Overal I give it 2/5June 19, 2003 at 12:47 am #5817
ok I made some of the poster revisoions and sorry but i have a bad habit of poor spelling so here it is the revised copy:
