All I’ve wanted to do for 4 years is help the site in a way which will benefit the community more than just “making a Brickfilm”, which I can’t currently do because of lack of space and equipment. If I were to be given the power legitimately I wouldn’t need to screw it up in any way, as an administrator I could help to make beneficial changes which will aid in making the site more organized (that is, for instance, helping to reconfigure the forum structure to suit the new site) therefore attracting the attention of new coming visitors.
I do acknowledge my past mistakes and many more of my immature mistakes occurred outside the Brickfilming community too, however since then I have become a changed man and have no need to exploit or ruin the community.
Perhaps we could settle for a sort of trial administrator-ship where I can demonstrate my dedication and skill?

It seems like you genuinely want to help the site, but to be honest, I would never trust you as administrator because of your past. I have a hard time believing you would be able to add anything special that The Doctor and I can’t do. I do have some plans for the forum regarding the organization, rules, etc. that I have yet to discuss with The Doctor, but that I haven’t been able to get around yet due to the LMP and some summer homework that I must complete. Oddly enough, I have more free time during the school year than the summer, so you’ll hopefully be seeing some beneficial changes during September or October. I’d also like to figure out with TAAB what’s going on with the site before I do anything.
Even if you were to prove yourself by offering suggestions to improve the site that are implemented, I’m not sure the extra help is needed.

I care because you’ve shown yourself over and over again to be untrustworthy, and if the people who run this site were ever to give you a position of authority, I’d rather they delete my account and all personal information rather than give you access to it. No offence, like.

Also I don’t need to be an Administrator to find personal information out about you anyway, it wasn’t long ago you had your name and details splashed on the About page was it?

And I think that’s why they don’t want you to be an admin.

If Aled Owen/Weasley becomes an administrator, moderator or gains any other form of power on this site; I’m asking thickasabrick and/or Brickfilms_Joe to delete/wipe my account of all info/data immediately.
Brickfilms_Joe, you might want to ask thickasabrick to give you a briefing about Aled Owen/Weasley.
Aled, look at it from my perspective.
Brickfilms_Joe is a brand new employee here at BF. You come around and make some suggestions; which is fine, nothing wrong with that. But after you made some suggestions and start gaining the trust of someone new, you are already gunning for power from brand new employee who does NOT know you very well like we do. To me this is extremely suspicious and makes me think that you have ulterior motives up your sleeve.
So, from a former moderator here and a fellow filmer, I ask you to drop this before you get yourself into a quagmire of trouble even worse than before. Take a break from BF/BiM. Even the internet alltogether for a little while and concentrate on what’s really important in life before this obsession totally consumes you.

I’ve been watching this post, and I think Dewfilms has been the most resonable. Replies like Dewfilms and badgerboy’s are the ones that will accomplish something. I dunno what Weasley has done before, but just remember, no one likes to keep getting reminded(read harassed)of his mistakes in the past. However, I agree with what badgerboy and Dewfilms say.

You are clearly wrong, BrickFilms_Joe already knew about my previous life here the moment he joined, so he tells me. I made this campaign thread before I even had a whiff of a new developer because I found it annoying nobody of any authority visits here during the weekends and the current Administrators are only online for certain parts of the day.

I’ve been reminded of every little detail of anything I’ve done wrong on this site from the moment I registered 4 years ago. Personally trying to gain respect on this site is useless because the moment the name “Aled Owen” is mentioned people are immediately put off, there are people here who have been in authority or still are in authority who were really immature (and some, though unnamed, who still are) but people seem to forget about their list of mistakes.

Obviously all of you are against me for whatever thing I done many months or years ago so I’m not even going to bother openly declaring my interest in helping the site in future.
