According to Ahnt’s thread, the election were supposed to be held on the 11th of may. Today is the 15th of may, so when are the elections?

Ahnt was in Germany at a baptism, he suffers from jet lag and had 36hours without sleep. Zane is having trouble with the elections page, I believe. I suggested to both ahnt and Zane that it would be easier to do it the old fashion way, using the polls in the elections forum.
Zane hasn’t replied to the idea I suggested about doing it the old way, and ahnt did, though he said hell reply in detail when he gets more sleep.

Why dosn’t Zane just skip the elections and just hand pick ministers based on our campaigns? Would be a lot easier.

    That wouldn’t be fair.

He’s the one running the place, not us. I thought he might be doing that because he asked us to pm him our campaigns.

But that means he is deciding who becomes the ministers, not the community, which is silly.

I’m not sure, but I believed that RevMen hand picked moderators when he was in charge.

    Sorry,

In deed I am in Germany, doing things like baptise my kids, go to a wedding, get an extension for my visa, visit all relatives…

I actually wanted the elections to be done before coming here, sorry, I still got no answer from zane, because we have two options, the old script from trill (who knows how that works – me not…) and we have a new one from Stevie I guess that is not active… both things I can’t do myself. I tell you asap,

    cheers Arend

He did, and it stays that way (well, the MoD does now, with the admin’s permission). But Ministers are elected, not moderators.

I think it would be easier to bring the “Register to vote” thread back, and tell people that more whop have been here for six months can vote, which means an admin adds them to the usergroup “Registered Voters” and then they can see the elections forums. So, i think we should just do it the old way and use polls on forums.
