It was like a Boarderland equivalent of Microsoft Visual Basic or something, can’t quite remember, but it’s not compatible with Visual Basic or C++, I can’t really remember but I had looked into it (and downloaded the source) a few years ago, why don’t you just use AnimatorDV free? It’s better then MonkeyJam and Asasazi.April 7, 2007 at 12:52 am #273611

“I agree Download the software for home use only”.
I don’t like putting that kind of limitation on my usage. What if I want to sell what I do with it?
That’s the other reason I don’t use Animator DV Free. It’s also harder for me to setup.
EDIT: I just tried it out. ANIMATOR DV IS AWESOME! I’m wondering how to use my remote keyboard with it, though. I can step through frames fine, but it’s not letting me capture remotely. Have you figured out a way to do that?April 7, 2007 at 5:26 am #273663

your asking for someone to make changes to SMA so that you can sell it? Because you’ve already established in previous post that you are not making any changes yourself.April 7, 2007 at 5:47 am #273665
No, no, no.
I want to sell my ANIMATED WORK I make with SMA. Animator DV requires you to buy a commercial license to use it professionally, which is why I liked SMA so much. Now I like Animator DV more, though. I’m just wondering how to animate professionally with it without being expected to buy the non-free version.April 7, 2007 at 9:20 am #273687

No. Prog is saying that he might wish to sell the movie he makes with his capture program, or perhaps enter it in a contest, neither of which would be permitted under AnimatorDV Free’s “personal home use” restriction.[/spoiler]April 7, 2007 at 3:02 pm #273771

Except being all weird. There are only a few things that Anasazi really needs. Think about it before you ask for everything at once.
A built in editor/timeline. You need to know what frames you have taken, and be able to remove one or two. It’s not a requirement, but it would be a good addition.
DV Camera support (I am assuming it doesn’t already have that)
Extended capture resolution (IIRC, it doesn’t go above 640×480)
