    Famous last words, haha! *handshake*

Seriously though, this project hasn’t been very active lately. Please email me or send a private message if you need any connections or publicity for it.

    Man, I feel useless.

Currently, I’m packaging up 0.3 for release. I’m still working on how this’ll work on a Mac and on Linux, however.

BJS, you shouldn’t really worry too much about Linux support. Linux already has about a half dozen stop-mo capture programs that handle the job quite effectively. Not that your efforts would be unwelcome, it just might be in your own best interest to focus upon Windows and MacOS.

Well, I think I might be able to hit two birds with one stone. I have found a gstreamer port for Mac, so if I write a back-end around that, it should work. However, Macs will have to manually install the port themselves for it to work. Now to learn how to use gstreamer with python…

BJS, i’m currently working on a download site for the downloads to go in. This is just a folder with it’s own FTP access where you can put downloads. Then just go to the ‘Add Download’ page in the downloads bit of the site and walla. Beats me having to do all the work of finding the file and things. Meh

Can you include the port in the final 1.0 download?

BJS, are you going to release a .exe for either operating system? No offense or anything, but very few brickfilmers are programmers. We just want something that works as a standalone application. Modules and widgets are fine for first versions, but the final should be a compiled .exe.
