I’d like it if you were more specific about what you mean by “maintain the discussion on online forums at an appropriate level for all age groups”. Do you think it is at an appropriate level now? If not, what do you plan to do about it? |

Brian, I actually think that less censorship is bad. So, if someone were to start cursing, how would that be handled? – LegosJedi — Building Better Resources Today, for Better Resources Tomorrow. |

Well after a warning is given out and the flaming/cursing continues I would immediately give out 24 hour suspension to the people who did it. |

Yes it is generally at the appropriate level now. |

Sounds a bit hypocritical to me. I’d like to see a bit more stringent content rules, a few years ago it was perfectly safe for a 10-12 year old on the forums. But at this point, I wouldn’t want my 11 year old brother joining because of the conversations that take place. How would you modify the rules to make the forums more appropriate for all age groups? Where is the line drawn as far as language/content goes? As far as appointing new mods — just a note, the MoD does need to consult with Administration before appointing new mods. And, who did you have in mind? Also, again, maybe you could perform this job adequately, but what makes you the absolute best candidate of all those running for this job? -Trill |

You were sending spam messages PMs to people. I don’t think anyone is going to support you anymore… |

If there is less censorship it takes the kick out of using inappropriate language for no reason. |

People don’t do sexual-content-ed captions in the Caption thread because they “shouldn’t” (to put it like that), though. |

But if they did, Bert, the put them in the spoilers, so at least you get a warning that what they posted has sexual content. |

That’s not a rule though, LegosJedi. And neither is it always put in place. This caption, while in spoilers, does not give a warning. This one isn’t in spoilers at all. (To Robert Douchette and 34643464: it’s nothing personal or anything; I’m just trying to show my point.) Relying on people’s common sense in order to keep things child safe isn’t a good idea on the internet. |

Based on the arrogance you have brought to this community I doubt anybody ‘ll be voting for you. -Aled |

He seems to approve of the “if we don’t punish them they won’t do it” approach… |
