Current Community Projects
Project Super
Late For Work
Brick Factory

How much time would I be able to spend performing my duties as Minister of Community Projects?

  • Time that could have been spent cleaning my room. Time spent pming people when I should be doing reading assignments. Time spent developing scenes when I could be out partying. Time spent, NOT wasted, in getting concepts off the ground to become official projects. Vouch for my time spent, Project Super members. This IS my domain.

What are my ideas to expand or improve the Ministry?

  • Ideally, having a second forum for each project, so that people don’t have to sign up over and over again in private forums and have to deal with connection problems (Matt Gillan and Munzapoppa Mini Movies have had trouble logging into the Super forum).
Assigning lieutenants to oversee these separate projects, because I am just one man and I can’t facilitating multiple projects at once, I need to focus. Currently, RP Hoogle oversees Brick Factory, BertL on Late For Work, Lord Of The LEGO as vice minister oversees all, while I oversee Super.

Trust is an issue and only Lord of the Lego has been given moderator power over the CP forum (along with MindGame). Ideally with these subforums, my lieutenants would have control over their own project forums.

What is my motivation for running for Minister of Community Projects?

  • To see to it that a community project gets made. After that, I can end my last term happy. Yes folks, I intend to step down eventually.

Is there anything I would change to improve my performance as Minister of Community Projects upon re-election?

  • No, why? Three projects are greenlit and developing, multiple concept threads have been made. I’ve given my input, I’ve encouraged potential concepts to be given further development. I aim to have a second Official Community Project made, be it Super, Late For Work, Brick Factory, or something else. What, you want me to get more official CPs done quicker? Rome wasn’t built in a day. A 20 second animation clip done by an amateur in less than a minute is not worthy of an official stamp. An animation done over the course of years, with effort and attention committed to getting all the details refined and tuned (like Smeagol’s Bane, Jay’s Gauntlet, etc.) is of an official stamp.

I basically can’t think of anything to improve on other than restructuring the forum to make it easier to separate developing projects from official projects, so I’ll leave it up to you to make suggestions.

Is there anything that I did during my last term, that I would not repeat?

  • Locking concepts or greenlit threads that haven’t actually been closed yet.

I’ve had to explain myself to you people for almost a year now. This is not worth my time.

Vote objectively for whoever you think is best for this job.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got people to pm and projects to run.

Lechnology has my full support.

Organizing and creating community projects takes a lot of time and energy, and Lechnology has put more that his share of time and energy into Project Super. Not only is he the primary organizer and director, he is also one of the main writers for the project.

He has also been very encouraging and supportive of the smaller, but no less important community projects Late for Work and The Brick Factory, two projects I personally am very excited about.

Some ministries require settling down for the long haul, and I know Lechnology is more than capable of it.

He has my support.

Honestly, I think that the Minister of Community projects should be voted on only once a year. As we’ve seen from Super, developing and directing a community project takes a long time. Besides, Lechnology has been an awesome minister for the past year, and in my opinion, this should be his job until he chooses to pass the torch to someone else.

Lech has my support.

I don’t even see why we need to consider someone else for this position. Lech is doing a wonderful job as Minister of CP, I would be extremely disappointed if he was replaced.
Super is going wonderfully, and, while I am not a part of any other CPs, I’m sure they are going well too. It would be a sad day indeed if Lech was replaced.

Lech has my support.

He’s been doing a great job the past two terms, and I don’t see why to elect another minister of community projects.

As others have said, it will be a sad day if Lech gets voted out of office. He has my full support.

He would not be replaced as far as his current projects go. He will remain in a position of authority for the CPs begun during his ministry.

The position was put up for election, more to confirm that he was still the voter’s pick. Because he’s been in this position for two terms (I believe that’s correct…) we thought it would be good to go ahead and put the position up for election to give someone else a chance to knock the voters out of the park with an incredible campaign, and if the voters believed that he should remain in the position, the votes would reflect that.

I definitely still support Lech for this position.

There is almost no competition for this position. Lech is the perfect choice. He’s been doing a stellar job organizing Super, and he’s putting all of his efforts into making sure that the other projects run smoothly. He’s dedicated and passionate about the craft, and I think that he’s inarguably the best choice.
