Hello, I’m currently running for Minister Of Film Contests, since Saulgoode has resigned, people are very confused and I will guide as best as I can. So To begin with my campaigning, a few suggestive skills some should have when running as a minister: Creative: Even though I haven’t created a contest, but I am currently involved with the Super Universe Community Project. To me, a Community Project is like a contest, except that a CP Needs more creativity to come up with a full storyline of what you’re brickfilming about. Organizational Skills: I am organized when it comes to brickfilming, but I have yet to try out to organizing a Contest, everybody will understand a well written contest with prizes and explanations, something so simple, any brickfilmer would understand. I will do my best when organizing a Contest, but there’s a first for everything. Communication Skills: What I have planned for Minister of Film Contests is simple. and this topic can be the easiest, and yet the most difficult to answer at the same time. What I will do, is talk to David West and the Admins’ to see if we should have THAC more than once a year, since alot of people miss out on it, they can try to have another chance to compete in THAC. I will also make sure that the prizes selected are, in a way, favorites of brickfilmers’, as well to make sure they get there within one or two months of time. Punctual: As I said in the Organizational Skills section, I will do my absolute best to make sure everyone wanting to enter or even thinking about entering to understand every single aspect of the rules, what can and cannot be used, copyrights, etc. How much time would I be able to spend performing my duties as Minister of Film Contests? What are my ideas to expand or improve the Ministry? My First Idea- Make sure people from previous contests get their prizes. My Second Idea- Get A Poll System working for the MINI-Contest Thread and maybe even The Brickfilming Challenge Thread so you can get the subject/topic of choice of what you want to brickfilm about. My Final Idea- Keep FAR Rolling, I know with the recent events, FAR is losing its edge, and for all we know, it could break within the next month or so. I will try to keep FAR from breaking by making updates on the thread to keep getting entries for FAR, and as well as the prizes to be something all of us like or want. What is my motivation for running for Minister of Film Contests? -EDIT- So there’s no changes that are going to happen at all? You have no ideas to improve the ministry, other than the minor things you stated? Would you give DVD’s as prizes for popular unofficial contests, just as Saul did? I don’t have any former contest DVD’s in my possention, but I will contact Revmen, or Saul if they can donate the DVD’s as prizes. If a poorly organized contest has potential, would you help the person out? If so, how? How would you handle the situation? In this kind of situation, what you say to the person can easily offend them, that’s why I will make Thread on how to present a contest, like a resource, and how to offer the prizes or theme that will have brickfilmers wanting to participate in this kind of contest. Could you explain any experience you have relating to the Ministry of Film Contests? They only experience I have with the Minitry, was asking questions, when I first joined brickfilms, I saw the MoB Contest thread, even though the Minister (Watson) wasn’t hosting it, but I asked few questions as I do to this day. So in a way, I have no experience with the actual Minister themself. Concluding Statements All I have to say is Thank You for reading of what I have to offer if elected Minister, I am welcome to any questions or concerns you might have with my campaign statements A NOTE- I HAVE WITHDRAWN THIS CAMPAIGN AND THE ELECTIONS ~Numbuh23~ Not Running For Minister Of Film Contests Anymore |

Could you explain any experience you have relating to the Ministry of Film Contests? Also, I may be wrong but I think in the end the people did get their IDEA prizes, some of them anyway. Thanks, and good luck in the elections. -Stevie Collins ~Candidate for Minister of Film Contests |

Tough choice between you and Stevie… Here are the same questions I asked Stevie: So there’s no changes that are going to happen at all? You have no ideas to improve the ministry, other than the minor things you stated? Would you give DVD’s as prizes for popular unofficial contests, just as Saul did? If a poorly organized contest has potential, would you help the person out? If so, how? How would you handle the situation? |

He told me on msn that he feels “quity” about it and he has stuff to do like the Brickcast, SUPER clip etc. But I told him that I still want to make him a member of the organizers usergroup (Contests) even though he withdrawed, so he’ll still be involved in organizing contests. |

Well, Its Mostly What Stevie Has Said, I’ve Been Having Too Much Time On My Hands To Continue For A Position Like This, But As Stevie Said I’ll Be Involved With Organizing Contests. |
