Sorry I havn’t been here. I stopped getting e-mails when I got replys to this thread. Anyway, like I said, I want it to be a natural disaster, not because of famine or starvation, because then how well could we make a decent story for say 10 animaters(animators)? And Hazzat, please don’t “Take Over” my idea. If you want to help that’s one thing, but don’t steal it.
I’m hoping this will be like the day brickfilms.com crashed, so each person would to do like a little story.
We can do todays tech, but if everybody wants to we can make them a little futuristic. Thanks for the support guys! -benjimonji |

Sweet thanks. If you want a sneak peek, its about a pilot that has his plane damaged by the waves. Only 4 survivors can combat the ruins of the world. |

Sorry. You said that you didn’t want to, so I thought I’d help out. … Can I steal it? |

It’s almost eerie how closely this resembles a CP idea I’d been formulating. Unfortunately, since you guys are leaning towards a natural disaster and a date only a few years into the future, none of my ideas will gel with yours. But it’s close enough that if I pitched mine separately, I’d be accused of ripping yours off. Thanks. You just ruined my day. |

Like I said before, the deadline and stuff aren’t “set”. It can still be changed. So let’s go over it: What does everybody like the year should be? What does everybody think the reason for the world ending be? -benjimonji- |

Anything but an asteroid coming for Earth. I think it needs to be something more plausible. Or something more interesting and less generic. |

The moon blocked out the sun, and solar winds kept the moon in place. These same solar winds cast a dangerous storm on the darkened planet, a storm similar to Jupiters Great Red Spot. Hows that? PS Al Qaeda doesnt have what it takes to blow up the world. PPS Maybe, world war III has just ended with a Nuclear Armageddon. |

“Aliens were among us. Almost 2 years ago to this day they landed on Earth. People reacted with global fear, but it was for naught. When encountered, the aliens were in a sense human. They had morals, thought logically, and had our general respect for life. The sigh held onto for over a century was released. We had met extraterrestrials, and they were not the mindless killers many had claimed they would be. Then, one day, they were gone. As quickly as they came, they left, leaving only the message. This message said, “We were pleased to meet your people, but we have met others, and wish to continue our search for life, so now we take our leave.” They were gone. A year passed and the excitement had died. It was around that time that the illnesses began. In small random groups people became more violent. More surprisingly these groups happened to be located in areas the aliens had landed. They were mad, and it was contagious. A sickness from the damned aliens, whether it was intentional I don’t know. Small wars started, and each group that was attacked became as violent as their attackers. Small wars became National. National wars became global. The world is destroyed, the land barren, the survivors scared, fighting to survive, among our broken land, and our broken people. Life on Earth appears to be over. If you hear these words, you are hearing a day in the life of one of the last survivors of the Apocalypse. END RECORDING” Meh, I was bored. |

That was awsome, just how long were you at your computer? :wink I think we could do zombies, but I feel somebody will say “But I don’t have zombies…” Well the watch the Boyle’s brickfilm “Zombie Peril”. Anyway, I’m getting bored of the computer…I’ve been on the computer or in my room (building with lego) all day. So yeah… benjimonji |

I recently abandoned a project like that not too long ago. Except a group of humans find some aliens and make a treaty. But the aliens rebel. But this would be a nice chance to finally do some Mars Mission animation. Is there any Aquaraider animation? What about Racers? (Then again, it would be boring. Take a few pics of a car going in a circle and loop it. Whee.) |

I’d love to do a part, as long as it is NOT loosely/closely based off a movie. |

Some ideas we came up with on Skype… 1. TV (or the internet) transmits a zombie-esque disease but all the animators are in the middle of THAC (or just busy animating) when it happens and not watching TV so we’re safe! 2. A whole city goes radioactive and it is cordoned off from the rest of the world. They stay like this for a year. When they cordon is lifted, the people inside have gone mad and/or have been infected with a zombie-esque disease. They try to kill everyone. 3. The earth bombs a planet that living animals are on and then they put a dome round the world then bombs the shield blows up everything. 4. We could have something like TV goes dead and people go insane without it. |
