Mike Dyer – Mr. Hanson – Back 2 Skool
Congrats to the winners. All very deserving! 🙂
Especially Voice Acting.
I’m amazed by the results. I think we redeemed ourselves from the initial nominations.
Hard to believe there were 6 Different winning films, even though it seemed like the same films were nominated for every category.
If you want it and you weren’t there, here is the Transcript from start to finish.
Congratulations to all. An incredible amount of work was went into the making of these films, and you all deserved this.
The results pretty much went as I’d hoped (yaaay for Faithless!). I’m kinda glad I didn’t get an award for Climb So High. It would’ve been fun to piss a few people off, though. 😛
This night was much more interesting.
I probably don’t need to comment on what I think of Faithless winning best film, but I realize I wasn’t a judge. I was somewhat surprised at Douleur winning Best Cinematography, since Triumph of the Empire has a higher rating in that category. Still, I think the awards were good overall, particularly The Fisherman and his Wife winning Best Screenplay, and Edison winning Best Score.
Would anyone like a glass of bubbly?
I am really stunned by the recognition that Faithless has received, and would like to thank the judges for these awards.
As a judge in last years BAMPA awards, I know how much effort and time goes into the process, and how many films you have to watch in order to make nominations.
I am extremely grateful to the judges and organisers – your cheques are in the post.
Congratulations to all of the other winners.
Gray Scale – Already on his second glass.
