Can you share with us some time management tips? Some of us might find it hard to film due to work, school, etc. For me I find it hard to practice since school has started and I have to work as well. Any suggestions would be much appreciated 🙂

I also find it difficult to manage time between work and school.

Animating is very time consuming and your have to be very patient. Which is why I will usually animate at night when I know I have a lot of time. After I finish animating, which may take several days, I begin editing the pieces together with whatever time I can find. Sometimes I will animate a small piece, edit it, and repeat this until I am done. This way can also be very effective as you may want to make changes once you see your films with sounds and effects.

Overall, I think that if brick filming is something that you really enjoy, then there should be no problem squeezing in maybe just an hour to work on your films.

I hope this can help =D

Thanks Onecras! 🙂 I’m still on the process of collecting Lego pieces so I haven’t officially started filming yet, but I really want to. I have the software that I need, my camera needs to be upgraded though. I think I should start by learning how to use the software more.

I do keep track of time with the help of the cloud based hours tracking tool from Replicon. The hassle free tool is all featured with the user friendly and calendar based interface which makes it an intuitive tool to manage the things.

Anna, I think you should definitely start a film as soon as you can! I think the best way to learn is to do, so give it a try 🙂

Hey, Anna! When I was collecting sets, I found that it’s easier just to buy Legos off of eBay. Hope this helps! 🙂

Another way is to go to the pick-a-brick wall at your local LEGO store. It’s only 15$ for a cup in which you can fit something like 80 bricks, so compared to buying a set, that’s alot better. Besides, Lego doesn’t make their sets with bricks anymore. Maybe 1-2, but really, if bricks is what you need, than pick-a-brick is the way to go.

Yes, pick a brick is pretty good. I have bought LEGO like that before. Anna, another way is to go on They have cheap LEGO for sell. U can buy big quantities of LEGO for a very small price. Here is the link.

Hope that this help and have a nice day! 😀
